The Duchess of Sussex showed up unexpectedly at the Parisian fashion event on Saturday to cheer on a close designer companion.

Meghan attended the Balenciaga presentation after making a solo trip over the ocean.

She has donned a number of designs by the brand's new creative director Piccioli and the attendance signaled "her backing of his latest creative phase," a representative for the duchess said.

This marked her initial visit at the style showcase for more than a decade.

"Throughout the past, the duchess has worn a number of designs by the designer," the representative said.

"They have worked closely together on designing for key moments on the global platform."

"She has always appreciated his artistry and contemporary grace, and this evening was the same."

"This evening reflects the culmination of a long time of creative work and companionship, shown through her support for his latest creative endeavor at Balenciaga."

The duchess, who announced her arrival in Paris with an Instagram story, chose a white outfit of flowing pants and a blazer from the line for the event on Saturday.

Meghan is most recently noted to have traveled to the UK in September 2022 to attend a charity event and was in the nation when the late Queen died. The couple then stayed on for the memorial service.

Prince Harry saw his father the King last month amid speculation about a reconciliation.

He has made several trips to the United Kingdom in the past few years for a variety of engagements including for fundraising occasions and to be present at court cases.

Recently, Prince Harry appeared to dial in for a court session in a case against the publishing group.
